Instead of using just one fabric for the border I pieced together my leftover pieces to create a fun border. I only had bella solid fat quarter bundles to work with so it was going to have to be pieced either way … I figured I might as well make it interesting! Once I had my quilt top pieced I sent it to Mandy Leins of Mandalei Quilts and let her do her quilting magic. And magic she did! Every time I look at this quilt I see something new and fun in the quilting that I hadn’t noticed before! If you love this quilting as much as I do – you have an opportunity to take classes from Mandy! She’ll be teaching at AQS Quilt Week in Paducah! Find out more details HERE. Every single grouping is uniquely and beautifully pieced – and to top it off, the quilting doesn’t distract or take anything away from design of the quilt. That is pure magic in the world of quilts! Now head on over to the Jolly Jabber to see what other bloggers and quilters are doing with their Bella Sampler Quilts! It’s so fun to see all the different versions! There’s a Facebook Group now too that you can share your work in! ~~~ This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.
