Happy May Day! When I was a kid we would fill a basket with flowers and treats, leave it on the neighbors doorstep, ring the doorbell and run away. Instead of flowers and treats I’m going to share with you the blocks for the 3rd month of the Fat Quarter Shop “Bella Skill Builder”. The block assignment for this month is not too intense – just 12 flying geese blocks sewn into three rows to be placed within the quilt. I love flying geese – they look more complicated to piece than they are and make a great addition to any quilt! I used a lot of different scraps of my bella solids to make the flying geese blocks. It was a great way to help bring unity to my crazy, scrappy quilt! It’s not required but the “Small Flying Geese Ruler” helps to trim your blocks perfectly! Now head on over to the Jolly Jabber to see what other bloggers and quilters are doing with their Bella Sampler Quilts! It’s so fun to see all the different versions! ~~~||~~~ This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.
