Happy Sunday everyone! Today’s the big day! The second Project QUILTING challenge goes up in just under 2 hours – I can’t believe the week has flown by so fast. Just a bit ago, my girls helped me draw the winners for the first Project QUILTING challenge live on facebook. If you want a glimpse at the craziness in my household feel free to watch it HERE. Cedi’s missing from the drawing as she has got her dad’s cold and was bit snotty/coughing so I gave her a pass. If you don’t feel like watching the video – that’s ok! I’ll summarize the winners below.
Viewer’s Choice:
Congratulations to Mel Beach with her quilt “Do you know the way to San Jose?” by getting 434 votes!!! If you haven’t taken a closer look at her quilt I highly recommend doing so! Mel will be getting a miscellaneous box of goodies from me!

“Quilting Gift Certificate” for $50.00 off the Quilting on a Lap size quilt or larger. (Lap, Twin. Full, Queen, or King) from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting.
The Gift Certificate will be good for 4 months starting one month after the challenge ends. Excluding the Month of December for using the gift certificate. The quilting gift certificate is transferable to another person, so you can share it with a friend, if you’d like.
Marcia will do an estimate based on the size of the winner’s quilt top, quilting choices, thread choices, and batting and if they would like to purchase backing fabric from me. Winner can send backing fabric and batting with their quilt top, but I do have it available. This way the winner will have a good estimate of the value of your quilting prize. Congratulations to hometown quilting!!!!
