Before I post the winners I need to say thank you to everyone for their kind words and support over the news of my mother’s passing. She was a fierce, strong lady and I am grateful for all the memories I have. I am lucky to have a HUGE family and an incredible friend base that has helped me during this difficult time. This season is definitely going to be different for me. I hope to use the challenges to help deal with my grief but as we all know grief is unpredictable. I will continue to do my best in responding, commenting and showing support of everyone in the challenge but I am realistic and know there will be days that I just need to do something else. I appreciate your continued understanding and grace.
I’m sure many of you noticed that Trish went solo for the prize video and I for one think she did a fabulous job! If you want to watch it for yourself you can by going to the facebook video HERE.
One of my favorite things Trish did was starting with Prize 14 and then working her way to the Ultimate Weekly Sponsor Prize – so I’m going to switch things up on my prize summary post and do that in the same order. Also – everyone – we had 229 ENTRIES! TWO HUNDRED and TWENTY-NINE Entries the first week! The most entries we ever had was 234 and many of us were still fairly locked down because of covid at that point so that is an absolutely AMAZING number! Everyone’s entries are incredible and I look forward to finding time to read more about each and every one of them. One of the last things I told my mom about was the incredible turn out because every week she always asked for participation update.
Thank you once again to all the fabulous sponsors! You are all incredible and we couldn’t appreciate you more.
Below I am summarizing who all won the prizes. I will be working on contacting the winners over the next week (I normally do this within a day but I have funeral things to do and I’m not sure how much time I’ll have). If you won and you haven’t heard from me by, let’s say, Wednesday, January 18th, please feel free to reach out and check in with me at projectquilting@gmail.com. Thanks again for your patience!
