It’s day 5 of the 3rd Annual Project QUILTING Mystery Quilt Along!
Clue 5
Cut
Fabric 5
(4) – 6.5″ x 6.5″ squares
Fabric 7
(4) – 2.5″ x 2.5″ squares
Layout
On one Fabric 7 square draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of the fabric. Place a Fabric 7 square rights sides together with a fabric 5 square. Make sure your diagonal lines are oriented as shown in the picture above.
Stitch on the diagonal line drawn.
Trim off the corners outside the stitch line.
Press towards the square fabric 7.
You will need to make four of these 6.5″ x 6.5″ squares for Clue 5.

If I had a one way design that I wanted upright in the finished quilt, would I put my corner triangles in each corner of my squares?
