What a fun week full of the alphabet! I feel confident in saying that many of us learned the definition for a new large word and perhaps will be comfortable enough with it to use it in casual conversation someday (which is how this whole challenge came to be). I have a feeling we used Abecedarius and searched it so much that it triggered the need for Merriam-Webster to use it as their word of the day on March 6th, 2019.
Once again – over 100 quilts were made for the Project QUILTING Challenge. You all are awesome! If we pull off over a 100 quilts in the sixth challenge (which goes up at noon on March 17th) it will be a record breaking season! Before we worry too much about that … it’s time to vote!

Viewer’s Choice
The quilt with the most votes (aka “Viewer’s Choice”) will receive …
A mystery box of fabric and other goodies from yours truly! I did a huge cleaning of my sewing room before this season was started and I found a plethora of goodies that I’ve been collecting for prizes and then putting somewhere safe for the last few years only to forget where I put them. Well – I found them and one lucky winner will benefit from that at the end of this week!
If you’ve entered a project in this week’s challenge, don’t hide your light under a barrel! Share the voting link – there’s no shame in soliciting votes from family and friends! Everyone gets 10 votes, so they can vote for you AND browse around and see what else catches their eye. It’s an online art show, sharing with the world quilts that may be outside their expectations or preconceptions.
The “Viewer’s Choice” winner & random prize winners will all be announced sometime between 8pm on Friday, March 15th and Sunday, March 17th … stay tuned for exact times. If you haven’t checked out the prize post yet be sure to do so. This weeks sponsors include: Hunter’s Design Studio, Crafty Sewing & Quilting, Color Girl Quilts, ThermOWeb, Sarah Goer Quilts, PamelaQuilts, Maywood Studio, Aurifil, and PersimonDreams.
