My A Lovely Year of Finishes June goal was to make and finish the Hungry Caterpillar quilt for Capri’s teacher, Mrs. Ellingson. I actually accomplished this goal a few weeks ago and I shared the rest of the process pictures with you HERE. I was waiting for this post though to show you the pictures I took when the kids gave the quilt to her! My initial plan was to bring it to school for Capri to give the teacher…but instead, she took the bag on the bus! I hadn’t realized she had done that and there were a few moments of panic as I remembered that she has to transfer buses too! I called the school though and they made sure she got off the bus with the bag! *whew!* Here’s Capri’s class with Mrs. Ellingson and the quilt! Of course – they all had to find there hand make sure EVERYONE knew it was theirs! It was really neat to watch the excitement and pride in the children when they inspected the final product. I know for a fact Mrs. Ellingson loves it!
