We’ll start with the Public Vote winner!    With 146 votes our Tree Challenge public vote winner is …  Lia’s Handmades with her quilt ‘Four Seasons’!  Lia will be receiving a10 Small Spool Arizona Collection from April Rhodes of Aurifil Thread and her  choice of a pattern from Mishka’s Playground  including the yet available 2015 quilt-along! Congrats Lia!  I love your quilt and the story behind how you made it is pretty amazing too!

Random Prize Winners

Now let’s see who my girls picked from the lucky hat! I wrote down 69 names (myself, Capri and Diane don’t qualify for prizes much to Capri’s chagrin).   Pip picked the first prize winner.  Sharonhuismith will be watching her mailbox for Ann Kelle’s mini spool collection of Aurifil Thread! Capri was on top of choosing For Quilts Sake to win the Simply Candy Squares pattern and a mini charm pack from Village Creek.. Cedi was thrilled to pick Tove to win Oklahoma Twister Pattern from Mill House Quilts. Seriously – why wouldn’t you want to pick prizes in a tutu!? Laurie K is going to jump up and down when her prize arrives in the mail!  Laundry Basket Quilts “Charms” are English Piecing papers with cute messages on the back of the shapes.  This is the correct size for the hexagon quilt in our "Handful of Scraps" book.  There are 100 shapes per package. Amy Wells is getting a custom quit label from WaggonsWest!  Sew BitterSweet Designs is giving one lucky person – Kaz of K & K Quilting – a choice of a pattern. Eden Bishop won the “Quilting Gift Certificate” for $30.00 off the Quilting on a Baby size quilt or larger. (Baby, Lap, Twin. Full, Queen, or King) from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting.
The Gift Certificate will be good for 4 months starting one month after the challenge ends.  Excluding the Month of December for using the gift certificate.  The quilting gift certificate is transferable to another person, so you can share it with a friend, if you’d like.
Marcia will do an estimate based on the size of the winner’s quilt top, quilting choices, thread choices, and batting and if they would like to purchase backing fabric from me. Winner can send backing fabric and batting with their quilt top, but I do have it available. This way the winner will have a good estimate of the value of your quilting prize. Cinnamonchip gets to choose one of the following patterns from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting:
