Good morning everyone! I realize that it’s already July and the “This or That Project QUILTING” Exhibit came down at Blue Bar Quilts a month ago and I haven’t posted about the winners yet! I’m so sorry! I did learn something this year. If I have a kid that is going to graduate from high school (I’m assuming college too?) I won’t have the energy or time to do many other things than that. I thought after her party was done I’d get time back but I might have forgotten about all the other parties you go to for the other kids that graduate with her. Oh – and the fact that I have two other kiddo’s with things going on to. Anyway – basically, I’m sorry for the delay and I have definitely learned my lesson for the future.
Let’s get back to it! You can see some pictures of the quilts that were on display on this previous post. As a worker at Blue Bar Quilts I can tell you that our customers really enjoyed seeing all these wonderful pieces in person! I want to say amazing job to everyone! Even if you didn’t win a prize you still win in finishing a quilt.
When I brought this idea up to Gael – the owner at Blue Bar Quilts – she said she would donate a prize to two winners. One winner received the most votes for their use of the “Trish Bundle” and the other winner received the most votes for their use of the “Kim Bundle.”
Trish Bundle Winner
Congratulations to Nancy Drake and her “Drunkard’s Path” quilt!
You should have received a bundle of rainbow inspired fat quarters, a fun snail ruler, and a cute new seam ripper! If you didn’t – please let me know!
Kim Bundle Winner
Congratulations to Erin Zinoble and her “Butterfly at the Crossroads” quilt!
You should have received a bundle of rainbow inspired fat quarters, a fun snail ruler, and a cute new seam ripper! If you didn’t – please let me know!
Thanks again to everyone who participated, voted, and cheered on from the sidelines! It was a great final to another great season of Project QUILTING!
