As I predicted … Season 15 of Project QUILTING has started with a bang! We had 227 quilts started and completed in just ONE WEEK for the PQ 15.1 Bird House Challenge. I’m blown away! I’m going to work on visiting each and every project to share my support for the amazing creativity, ingenuity and excitement everyone has shown from everyone.
Check out the challenge post HERE to find out all the specific details of the challenge but the main rule was : “Use the inspiration of a bird’s house for your project.” We will be drawing prize winners later this week but Trish and I need to have a chat to figure out all the details – I promise to keep you posted! It will most likely be live on the Project QUILTING Facebook Page.
And this is the music video that inspired Trish to make “Bird House” the challenge in the first place!
Below are all the projects that were linked up. I hope you find some time to click through and show your support! Have fun and enjoy these amazing pieces!
Every week that you enter a piece for the challenge you are entered into a random drawing to win one of the amazing prizes from our sponsors! Be sure to check out THIS post for all the prizes up for grabs this weeks and to thank our awesome sponsors! Our Ultimate Weekly Sponsor this week is Blue Bar Quilt.

What a lot of great projects. And I’m giggling because as I was thinking about the prompt, I wondered if I could somehow get a reference to TMBG in there and it seems I was not the only (or first) one. I didn’t end up joining in, but had fun watching others. Thanks for hosting!

I missed the boat with this challenge. But I would really like to participate in the next one. When does it start? How can I be notified?

Darn! I’ve got to listen closer when my kids are talking. When I told them about the challenge topic, they started talking about They Might Be Giants. And here I thought that they weren’t interested and were changing the subject!! If I had made the connection, I would have gone in a different direction with my project!!
