This is the FINAL layout for the Sixth Annual Project QUILTING Mystery Quilt Along! Have you figured out what the theme is this year?
I know I’ve seen a few people hinting at it and at least one person who figured it out-ish. It IS roman numerals. In honor of it being the FIFTEENTH Season of Project QUILTING I created an improv quilt that features each roman numeral counting up to 15.
Block 1 – aka 3 (III)
Block 2 – aka 6 (VI)
Block 3 – aka 9 (IX)
Block 4 – aka 4 (IV)

Block 6 – aka 11 (XI)
Block 7 – aka 12 (XII)
Block 8 – aka 5 (V)
Block 9 – aka 10 (X)

Clue 9 – Final Layout
Layout
Layout your blocks in the order shown above.
Sew the top five and bottom five blocks together. Sew the two blocks on each side together. Press towards the least amount of seams.
Sew the two blocks on the sides to the middle block. There are now three rows.
Sew the three rows together. Press towards the middle row. And with that – you’re done! Your quilt should measure 24.5″ x 24.5″.
Feel free to move your blocks around – you don’t have to follow this layout. All 4.5″ x 6.5″ blocks can be swapped with other 4.5″ x 6.5″ blocks and the same goes through the 6.5″ square blocks. This whole challenge was about improv and sewing what makes you happy so please feel free to do that as you finish up your top as well. I hope you enjoyed this mystery quilt along!
Once you have your quilt top finished please share a post on instagram with the hashtag #pqmysteryqal6 and/or in the Challenge Quilts facebook group.
