I know Project QUILTING Season 13 is about to begin but if you know me at all you know that I can’t ever work on just one project at a time. I just pulled out blocks from a project I started years ago and I have now decided what I’m going to do with them.
I made these 100 blocks from Tula Pink’s City Sampler: 100 Modern Quilt Blocks (#ad) book years ago. I had a blast making them in indigo and mustard fabrics. But I had already made a really cool quilt from the 100 Tula blocks before so I knew I had to come up with something completely different.
That’s where my newer quilt pattern “Stellar Adventure” comes in. Stellar Adventure is based of 6.5″ blocks to build it out. I will be substituting my 100 Tula Pink Sampler Blocks into this quilt pattern to make a Stellar Adventure Tula Pink Sampler Quilt! I am so excited about how amazing this looks in my head.
I’ve been collecting indigo and mustard fabrics for a bit now so I think this essentially two (three with off white) color quilt is going to look epic.
As I work on this I’ll be posting to my instagram account. Feel free to get your pattern today so you can join along in the fun. You don’t have to do yours in indigo and mustard – feel free to use whatever color palette you’d like!
