Patchwork Tin Ceiling

December 8, 2021 by persimondreams 6 Comments

I’m going to be honest. I got my Covid booster yesterday so my energy level is very low. This is going to be a quick post today.

I laid on the ground in my family room and took a picture of our drop ceiling. When we put on our addition we decided to do a drop ceiling and I’d always been in love with tin ceilings (#ad). We headed to Menards and I randomly chose styles and colors for the tiles for our order. I knew it was either going to work or really not work. I think it worked! To “festive” it up I have large ornament balls hanging from the ceiling as well.

What do you think? Fun or too much?

LOL. “Festive” is a good word for it. I don’t think I’d be that brave, but it ROCKS! Those are so cool.

Oh I Really really like the way that turned out!.
Not too much at all I think. Wish I had a way / place to put to steal and use the idea.

I love your ceiling! I’ve seen a tile floor reminiscent of this – where they used the same colors (all blue, and very close in shades), but all different patterns. Both are very ‘quilty’ to me, so it appeals! I don’t know what the rest of your room looks like but I’m envisioning something a little on the rustic and cozy side…

    Merry Christmas!

I love it! Very clever and turned out beautifully—a hidden surprise in a way. Hope you feel better soon!
