I’ve been pretty good about sharing quilt finishes on Instagram but not so good at sharing them here on the blog. This is a quilt I finished in the past year. It’s a quilt created from the Geese Feet Block designed by GoGoKim for an Aurifil (#ad) Block of the Month. I loved it so much I knew I had to make enough for an entire quilt! You can see how it all began by going to this post here.
It took me five years to finish this but I did! I actually had the main part of the quilt completed for awhile but I couldn’t decide how I wanted to border the piece. I finally decided to add a printed white strip of my original spoonflower fabric with two different log cabin printed fabrics. It’s a little quirky but definitely fits my style.
Kim Van Etten did the beautiful quilting on this piece and I’m thrilled to have another quilt finished!
This piece is super scrappy but very color specific. Fun surprises will pop out at you no matter where you look.
Do you have a block that you meant to only make one and then ended up making an entire quilt of them instead?

Love this and especially the scrappy effect. Is this your pattern? Would love to make one.
