I finished another Scrap Quilt Challenge Quilt! I have actually finished them all in time but I haven’t been very good about getting my blog posts up. So – we’re going to take a few days to catch up on the scrap quilts I’ve made. The theme for the April Scrap Quilt Challenge was house blocks!
I decided to go with a medallion style for this one.
I made a scrappy Dresden Neighborhood block for the center of the quilt.
Then I created a bunch of improv houses to go around the blocks. I did pull a few of my “orphan” blocks from past projects to add into this piece just to add some bonus fun.
Kim Van Etten did the amazing quilting on this one!
