I really need to get better at posting my quilt finishes not jut on instagram but here, on my blog.
With that said, this is going to be a pretty simple post. Here is my Scrappy Nine Patch Quilt Finished!
I used a pattern from an old issue of Fons and Porter … I think it was called “Flower Garden” but when I google it I just find the Grandmother’s Flower Garden posts so I may just be remembering everything incorrectly. This is made with all nine patches and then one rectangle. You piece it in sections and have to do a partial seam to put it all together in the end. I planned out my color scheme ahead of time and then just kept sewing my scraps together until it was finished!
Kim Van Etten quilted this piece and it’s definitely one of my favorites.

I surfed on in here while looking at nine-patch ideas, and I needed to say that yours is amazing! Wish the pattern was searchable. I keep trying to deconstruct it by looking at your quilt. 🙂
