I’m really excited to announce that I am one of the instructors for the Craft for the Holiday’s – a retreat from home event!
Over the course of the weekend, you’re going to get to peek into everyone’s sewing spaces as well as get glimpses of their projects; you’ll get focused attention from some of the most dynamic and fun teachers I know; you’ll get to know one another and get to laugh and play in the comfort of your own space. I am excited for you; I am excited for all of us.
Whether we like it or not, COVID has changed the way we’re doing things for who knows how long. As I learned from my orchard this fall, we all need to pivot and make adjustments to succeed in this new (hopefully temporary) world. I was honored to be asked to be an instructor for the Craft for the Holiday’s Event put on by Retreat from Home. I have heard amazing things about the previous ones and I’m looking forward to learning from all of you as I teach my Dresden Neighborhood quilt!
Ebony has graciously agreed to put a kit together for me for the class. Now you don’t have to make your neighborhood the same as the kit but I’m really excited about it!
The photo above inspired the kit I curated and I’m really excited to be making a winter ski village as my Neighborhood for this retreat! I think my favorite thing about this pattern is that even if everyone who signs up and purchases the kit from the site, there will be no two exact neighborhoods! I promise – it’s virtually impossible! The Dresden Neighborhood allows for freedom in creativity and inspiration. If you’re nervous about that, my workshop will help free you from whatever fears you have!
There are a bunch of other projects offered throughout the weekend as well! I’m thinking I’m going to get a head start on making some fun gifts for the holidays!
You have until October 31st to get the Early Registration Discount so be sure to register ASAP! I hope to see many of you there!
