Season 11 of Project QUILTING is almost over. Seriously – the sixth and final challenge will be posted tomorrow at Noon CDT. So far in Season 11, 650 quilts have been made during the time frame of the challenge! WOW! I know life is crazy right now … I hope Project QUILTING will help you take your mind off things and escape into a world of fabric and sewing. Now let’s meet our sixth Ultimate Weekly Project QUILTING Sponsor –Sew Sweetness!
Sara of Sew Sweetness is an incredible person and bag pattern designer.
Here’s a photo of the four latest patterns from Sew Sweetness – His, Hers and Furs, Part 1!
I’m so excited to have her as a sponsor for another season of Project QUILTING! I did a mini interview with her so you could find out some fun behind-the-scenes things!
KL: When did you first hear about Project QUILTING?
SL: Kim is amazing and I first heard about Project QUILTING through Kim’s social media. I have been following her for sometimes and one of my absolute favorite quilts of all time is Kim’s “In the Garden” quilt.
KL: Why did you decide to sponsor this fun challenge?
SL: I love supporting the sewing/quilting community and so I was more than happy to sponsor this fun challenge! I love seeing what people are coming up with!
KL: What would your perfect day of sewing involve?
SL: My perfect day of sewing would involve waking up early and getting right into sewing (I’d have cut out my fabric and/or interfacing for the project the night before). Even though it’s hard for me to pay a lot of attention to tv shows or movies while I sew, I do like to have a well-watched favorite on while I work, such as Law & Order SVU.
KL: Do you prefer cake or pie?
SL: Cake for sure!

I will be sorry to see these every other week challenges end. They have been fun and got me sewing.
I’m glad so many sponsors have supported this. I found several that I have never heard of. I will be expanding my supply resources.
Thanks for the time you have put into this.
