Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a fabulous day full of joy and fun!
Did you know that the 12 days of Christmas technically starts on December 25th? Well I didn’t until I started to research when I should start this fun! To make it more amazing – the last day of the 12 days of Christmas is January 5th which happens to be the first day of Project QUILTING! Could it be any better? Even by giving me 12 more days that I thought I had I’ll still be flying by the seat of my pants a bit. Oh well! I have LOTS of things to giveaway! I collected fun goodies that were on sale during the holiday season in case I needed to supplement Project QUILTING Prizes a bit. Turns out – there is absolutely no need for me to do that! So many companies excitedly joined in the fun and the prizes each week are beyond anything we’ve ever had!
I feel like I’m rambling a bit (sorry Trish) so I’m going to get to the point. Over the next 12 days – i.e. the 12 days of Christmas, I’m going to be doing “12 days of Giveaways and #PQPrompts”.
What is #PQPrompts? This was something fun on instagram that I started last season.
You don’t even have to have participated in Project QUILTING before to join in! We want to get to know our quilting/fiber arts community! Each day of the 12 days of Christmas around 8:30AM CST (give or take 15 minutes) I’ll post the new photo prompt for the day. Share a photo of whatever you think fits that prompt best and tell us why you chose it. This is how you will be able to WIN whatever prize I have for that day of the 12 Days of Giveaways! We are doing just 11 #PQPrompts in honor of Season 11 of Project QUILTING. The first day of 12 days is Christmas so I’m starting it out simply and you just have to follow me, like the post and answer a question to be entered. The fun #PQPrompts will begin on December 27th!
Because I feel like this post was complete brain dump I’m going to summarize what’s going on here.
- On instagram, I’ll be hosting 12 days of giveaways from December 25th – January 5th.
- You will have to follow me on instagram to win.
- The first day of the giveaway is simple to win.
- Starting on day 2 you’ll have to answer some #PQPrompts on your instagram account to be entered for the prizes.
