Last fall, as the caramel melted or on rainy days, I spent my time developing and creating a new pattern for the book “Modern Patchwork, 12 Fresh Quilting Patterns to Inspire Your Creativity” for Leisure Arts. 
This book features twelve stunning projects that range from pillows, place mats, totes, aprons, and of course quilts!
The Ombre Patchwork Quilt I designed features V and Co ombre fabrics and a range of grey solids – all of which I purchased at my local quilt shop, Blue Bar Quilts. 
The quilt goes together quickly and has a dramatic, modern impact. 
It is perfect for decorating your home or snuggling up under.
Kim Van Etten did the incredilbe quilting on this piece and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out.
I’m also really loving the photography the book photographer did!
