I was recently given a bundle of the gorgeous Michael Miller’s Hash Dot fabric collection. It is RAINBOW – which if you ask my daughters what my favorite color is they’d better respond … rainbow. I knew right away I wanted to make a Dresden Neighborhood that would feature this line. At this point, I’ve made a lot of Dresden Neighborhoods and I thought I’d play around with the layout a bit.
The method to make this Dresden Neighborhood is just like what the pattern tells you – except you have to flip a few of your Dresden house wedges around a bit to get more of a horizontal layout than a circular layout. I’m thrilled with how this turned out and definitely have plans to play with this layout more in the future.

I love it! With Christmas in full swing, my house seems to be one that is upside down. Creative minds often put a twist on things. Bravo to being brave.
