I am beyond excited to officially announce that I am an Island Batik Brand Ambassador for 2019! This is my first year as an ambassador and I’m really excited to see all the amazing things that will come from this opportunity!
Our first Ambassador boxes arrived in January and I recorded (I was totally going to write video taped but I used my ipad so that really wasn’t what I did) my unboxing. Learning how to do video better is definitely on my 2019 to-do list!
I have embedded the video here on my blog but if that doesn’t work for you – you can see the raw, unedited recording of my unboxing on my facebook page here. For some reason it wouldn’t upload to YouTube but I’ll keep you posted if I figure that one out.
I’m just one of FIFTY amazing quilters and artisans that are Island Batik Ambassadors! Head over to the island batik blog to meet the rest of the group! It’s a serious honor to be a part of this. Each month of my Ambassador-ship there is some sort of quilt challenge. You all know I LOVE a good challenge and this will keep me creating all year! This month I need to make a “Magnificent Mini.” I have started it and you can watch my progress on my instagram account – @PersimonDreams.
Keep an eye on all the Island Batik fun on social media!
Instagram– follow @Island_Batik and the hashtags #islandbatik and #islandbatikambassador!
Facebook – be sure to like the Island Batik page!
Pinterest – Island Batik is on there and so is a special Island Batik Ambassador board!
Island Batik is partnering with Aurifil, Hobbs Batting and AccuQuilt for this fun year! I am so excited to work with these great companies and their amazing products.
This month, be on the lookout for all the unboxing videos and the Magnificent Mini quilt the Ambassadors are posting! I’m already blown away and we’re not even a week into February!

So good to see you as an IBA. I’ve been there for two happy years. Now I have to consentrate on finishing my La Passion. And make some PQ quilts, of course.
