I have had so much fun watching the instagram #pqmysteryqal feed and seeing all the finished mystery quilt tops! So – how many of you figured out this is what we were making after the first couple of clues? I thought it would be a fun little quilt that would help get you excited for Project QUILTING and then continue to inspire you as season 10 progressed. 
I started quilting my mini “I heart PQ” runner this morning using Aurifil thread and my new Bernina. I’m still figuring out my new machines quirks but she is pretty nice. Hmmm … I think she needs a name too! I have a bit more quilting to do and then I plan on binding the mini quilt at the basketball tournament tomorrow. I’ve found that hand work helps make me a calmer parent.

No! I missed it. I’m just binding it and now I see that it was supposed to be done by noon. Dang it 🙁 Not sure if it would have counted anyway since I changed it. I’ll have it done this afternoon though, and that’s starting the year with a finish, and I’m okay with that.
