Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a fun night celebrating the 2018 leaving and 2019 arriving. We were snowed in here in Wisconsin but that just made our annual dominoes game more cozy.
Are you ready for the fifth clue to the Project QUILTING Mystery Quilt Along? I know a few folks have already guessed where this is going and I love it when they privately message me what they think it is. I would really appreciate it staying private though until the final quilt is revealed so it doesn’t spoil it for others. Thanks!
Being a holiday I kept today’s clue the most simple! Then you can sew and still have time to take a nap!
Quick note in case you didn’t see it before we get to the fourth clue. It was brought to my attention that I had a typo on Clue 2. It’s fixed now but if you pieced your clue together before 3pm CST yesterday my apologies. You should sew (5) sets of six 2.5” square strips (not the 6 sets of 5 … sorry!). Hopefully this is a quick fix for you and you’re ready for the next set of clues!
Clue 5 – Sew Fabric One Pieces Together
Sew a six square strip of background fabric to both sides of the six square strip of fabric 1.
Hmmm … I wonder what this block is going to be?
So that’s it – Clue 5! Have fun and be sure to post your progress on instagram using the hashtag #PQMysteryQAL.
