Happy Monday everyone! I’m excited to be here today to share with you the news that one of my projects has been PUBLISHED in a book! The book is called “Table Runner Roundup: 13 Quilt Projects to Spice up Your Table”. I’m honored to be included in this fabulous book among 9 other fabulous designers! The book is compiled by Amelia Johanson and it’s definitely going to be your “go to” book for making gifts and decorations for your home.
I designed this fun table runner called “hightail” and it features flying geese, half square triangles, and of course, fun color combinations!
It looks great hanging on our deer fence.
I used safety pins to add a temporary sleeve to the table runner.
Which made it easy for me to hang the quilt up on our wall!
While, I do think my table runner is pretty fabulous … there are lots of other ones I’d love to make from the Table Runner Roundup book. Perhaps I’ll even get an early start on my Christmas gifts this year! I’m not going to show you ALL the quilts in the book … but these four are definitely on my to-do list!

I usually give table runners away to friends, but I have a few holiday ones that I bring out annually. These are so pretty I'm not sure I'd want to give them away!

I do love a good table runner on my dining room table! The problem comes when the cat thinks it's there just for her to play in. 🙂

I have runners on several tables in my house, but a lot of the runners I make are for gifts. I think they are wonderful gifts, as most anyone can find a place to use a runner. And having a variety to change out for the seasons and/or holidays is nice.

I have a square coffee table and often change runners – both square and rectangular, that I put down on the diagonal (of the table). Sometimes I hang them outside my door or on the deck. Love these smaller projects!

Your table runner is gorgeous and when I saw it yesterday I wondered who was the creator. Well, my table is always layered with projects and newspapers so I make my table runners as wallhangings….or I haft them. BTW 2 other friends and I made a Dresden village and it was sooo fun.
