Happy Monday everyone! I’m excited to be here today to share with you the news that one of my projects has been PUBLISHED in a book! The book is called “Table Runner Roundup: 13 Quilt Projects to Spice up Your Table”. I’m honored to be included in this fabulous book among 9 other fabulous designers! The book is compiled by Amelia Johanson and it’s definitely going to be your “go to” book for making gifts and decorations for your home.
I designed this fun table runner called “hightail” and it features flying geese, half square triangles, and of course, fun color combinations!
It looks great hanging on our deer fence.
I used safety pins to add a temporary sleeve to the table runner.
Which made it easy for me to hang the quilt up on our wall!
While, I do think my table runner is pretty fabulous … there are lots of other ones I’d love to make from the Table Runner Roundup book. Perhaps I’ll even get an early start on my Christmas gifts this year! I’m not going to show you ALL the quilts in the book … but these four are definitely on my to-do list!

I usually give table runners away to friends, but I have a few holiday ones that I bring out annually. These are so pretty I'm not sure I'd want to give them away!
I use them on my table or my tv stand as 'runners'.
🙂 Linda
Congratulations. It's a great pattern. No creative way to use them, other than on a table.
I follow on Instagram and Bloglovin.
I like to drape them over things like small tables or if it is a big one I can put it at the end of a bed. Congrats on the pattern.
I do use on table for special occasions or coffee table all the time and I do have some hanging in my longarm room to display quilting designs
Oh, so fun…I also like "Making Waves"….I use them on the front entry table and on walls, like you have pictured. I am a member of you Facebooks group and follow you on FB too.
I use seasonal table runners for my coffee table. I have also given them as gifts to friends. I hadn't thought to temporarily hang them but now I will!
I gift almost all of my quilt projects. Tablerunners are on my "to gift" this year (hopefully). I would love to win this book. Motivation and Inspiration = finished gifts.

I do love a good table runner on my dining room table! The problem comes when the cat thinks it's there just for her to play in. 🙂
I have runners on several tables in my house, but a lot of the runners I make are for gifts. I think they are wonderful gifts, as most anyone can find a place to use a runner. And having a variety to change out for the seasons and/or holidays is nice.
You bet your boots I follow you on Facebook! I love how you direct to think outside of the box!
This book looks perfect for my taste and style! Modern patterns with great appeal! The table runners in my home are used as table runners or dresser runners. You've got me thinking about hanging them on the wall!

My table runners adorn my table, coffee table, entry hall stand or buffet. Love showing them off.
I have a square coffee table and often change runners – both square and rectangular, that I put down on the diagonal (of the table). Sometimes I hang them outside my door or on the deck. Love these smaller projects!
I just thought, that I will have to get this book. *gg* wonderful! I have one table runner, but now I want more! I use our every day and I'm still happy that it isn't dirty by now.
Greetings from Germany

I love making table runners, they are on my tables.
I use them as bridal shower gifts for customers' children.
I use them on dining table, coffee table, dressers, and nightstand. Sometimes I make them longer and use as a bed runner.

I find a long skinny quilt goes many places. I like to place them along the top of our front room loveseats as they just stick there and add a splash of color

I mostly use table runners on a table, but also have been known to "convert" to a wall hanging. I know my sister hangs one of hers that I made over the back of her sofa.
I like to make seasonal table runners, and hang them vertically in entry ways, as long skinny quilts has a lot of drama. Love your wild geese pattern! LeeAnna at leeannaquilts at gmail dot com

I am a member of your FB group. I really do want to start making some dresden villages as all those you've posted are so inspiring. Sooner, rather than later, I hope. Congrats on having your pattern published!
Your table runner is gorgeous and when I saw it yesterday I wondered who was the creator. Well, my table is always layered with projects and newspapers so I make my table runners as wallhangings….or I haft them. BTW 2 other friends and I made a Dresden village and it was sooo fun.
I love table runners! Fast and I frequently use them as gifts! Looks like a great book.
I use my table runners – I use them to top my cedar chest, my bedroom dresser and end tables as well. Have never thought about hanging them…..hmmmm food for thought!
Epiphany! Call “table runners” “skinny quilts,” and suddenly other uses crop up. Thanks to the other comments, I’m seeing these pieces in a new way. I love the patterns you’ve shown here and would love to see the whole book.
I use them on my table only but am definitely open to getting more use out of them in creative ways.
I usually use them on tables…but once in a while I do use them as long wall hangings.
I generally have one table runner on my dining table, and others displayed as skinny quilts. Love your design!
I follow you on Instagram.
I just starting following you on Facebook.
I use them throughout the house where ever I need a pop of color! I like the way you can change the look instantly with just a few changes with runners. I also have a wonderful kitchen counter that I love to display my current runners. Love the look that you showed of some of the runners in the book plus yours that you made. So appealing, fun and updated!

I like to make them mainly as gifts. IF I am using in my home they are generally on the table. Thanks for the giveaway
Table runners is how I like to make my holiday table pop, especially when that Christmas holiday plaid (I JUST had to have) just does not cut it…!
I use table runners on my coffee table as well as the sideboard. I follow on FB & IG and your FB group.
Love your pattern. Actually love all the patterns you showed. Thanks. I give away runners, use them on the back of the sofa (better than the granny square crochet blankets like on the now defunked Rosann show), bottoms of beds and on tales. s=
Love this. I sometimes put table runners on my table since it makes it pretty for a minute. Then real life kicks in ad I have to move to an unused table!
