Patchwork Apple Potholder

Apple season is less than a month away (21 days if we’re counting)!!!! When I heard my newest assignment for ThermOWeb was to create a fruit themed potholder I knew right away I was going to make apple potholders!   I couldn’t just make potholders that looked exactly like an apple though – right? Instead I create a fun patchwork block featuring Wonder fabric by Carrie Bloomston for Windham Fabrics and cut an apple shape for my potholder.  They are all quilted using Aurifil 2225, 50 wt.   You can see the entire step by step process over on ThermOWeb’s blog HERE.  ~|~|~|~ affiliate ads
