March Inspiration for the #DresdenNeighborhoodSAL

March came in like a lamb in Wisconsin so we’ll see how the rest of the month goes.  Today I’m going to share with you some of the fun days of March in case you’re doing a holiday theme for your Dresden Neighborhood blocks. I will still share with you something special to help inspire a more specific Dresden Neighborhood block on the 9th of each month.  It’s been so fun to watch just how excited folks are about this Sew Along and the ideas that are popping up all over the place – especially in my “Quilt and Dream Along with Kim Lapacek” facebook group. Once the first holiday you think of in March? St. Patrick’s Day of course!  So that is March 17th but let’s see what other fun days are in March! You can find all the bizarre and unique holidays HERE – I’m just going to highlight a few I think would be fun to incorporate into a house! March 1st – National Pig Day … YES!  That would be an epic neighborhood! March 2nd – Dr. Seuss’s birthday … if I hadn’t already started my March neighborhood this would definitely be my inspiration … I may even pull this over into a different month.  You could have SO MUCH FUN with a Dr. Seuss themed Dresden Neighborhood!!!! March 4th – Oscar Night March 8th – Popcorn Lover’s Day March 11th – Johnny Appleseed Day March 12th – Plant a Flower Day March 14th – National Pi Day (I LOVE this day!)  March 20th – Spring (Vernal) Equinox March 23rd – National Puppy Day March 25th – Waffle Day March 28th – Weed Appreciation Day … hmmm … dandelions?
