I’m feeling full of sappy emotions this morning. As I just glance through all the entries and get a glimpse at the stories behind them – everything from first quilt, to something hilarious, to deeply emotional, to lets just get this done! The entire gambit has been submitted and I love each and every piece. I’m so proud of you all and so thankful that you are taking on this little challenge I dreamt up nine years ago. The inspiration, community and creativity that has been developed makes all the stress behind keeping a challenge like this running smoothly worth it. I also can’t thank Trish enough for all of her support behind the scenes – she takes care of me and you more than you know!
Ok – enough sap … let the fun begin! TIME TO VOTE! Choose your TEN Favorite Quilts below that were created for the Project QUILTING Mellow Yellow Challenge (125!!! (119 qualify for voting)) and click on the heart to vote (upper right corner)! You can click on the photo’s themselves to read the “story” behind the quilt – my favorite part! (When you click on the photos a checkmark will appear in the upper left corner – this means nothing other than you’ve clicked on the link.) When you stop by please take a minute to comment on your favorite thing about the quilt! Let’s make Project QUILTING an inspiring, uplifting community that encourages and supports each other in positive ways! Vote by clicking on the heart in the upper right corner of the image.
The quilt with the most votes will receive …
A mystery box of fabric and other goodies from yours truly! I did a huge cleaning of my sewing room before this season was started and I found a plethora of goodies that I’ve been collecting for prizes and then putting somewhere safe for the last few years only to forget where I put them. Well – I found them and one lucky winner will benefit from that at the end of this week!
Voting will close on Friday, March 2nd at 8pm, CST. Spread the word to your family and friends! Everyone can vote – not just participants!
Everyone gets TEN votes so they can vote for you and then nine other quilts that they like best!
The “Viewer’s Choice” winner & random prize winners will all be announced sometime next weekend … I have to analyze my kids’ schedules before I decide when. If you haven’t checked out the prize post30 yet be sure to do so. This weeks sponsors include: our ultimate weekly sponsor – Wise Craft Handmade, Wednesday’s Creations Studio, Aurifil, Hunter’s Design Studio, Warm Crochet, Sew Sweetness, Kid Giddy, Needle & Foot Fine Fabrics, Color Girl Quilts, Hungry Hippie Sews, Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting, ByTrinaPeterson and Pointelle Design!
VOTE for TEN of your favorite quilts below by clicking on the heart in the upper right corner!’
