Good morning everyone! I’m super excited to share with you a new quilt pattern I’ve just released – TODAY. It’s a fun and easy pattern that I hope you check out. It’s for my quilt “Caravan of Geese.” This quilt is pieced by me, quilted by Barb Raisbeck of Quilts by Barb and it uses Quilters Dream Blend Batting. This quilt is full of scrappy fun! The amount of cutting necessary may seem daunting, but if you break it up it’s manageable. My favorite thing about a scrappy quilt is all the memories it contains from previous projects. It is also the PERFECT pattern for the “Scrap Quilt Challenge” happening right now! For this project, the scrappier the better: just make sure your fabrics are a good mixture of values (dark, medium and light) for a dynamic, fun quilt. This would be a great quilt for a swap too … you could swap fabrics, half square triangles and/or flying geese! Seriously – the more mix the better the quilt! “Caravan of Geese” is currently only offered as a pdf pattern but will be printed soon for Local Quilt Shops interested in carrying it. More photo’s of this quilt in the blooms coming soon from the lovely and talented Karmen Lindner Photography.
