February has come to an end and it’s time for the Monthly Round Up! I love seeing what folks are creating from my patterns/ideas. If you’d like your neighborhood featured you can email it to me – lapaceksorchard@gmail.com and/OR you can join my new facebook group – Quilt and Dream Along with Kim Lapacek and share it there! Be sure to let me know if I have permission to share it (giving you credit of course)! PS. If you’re quilt doesn’t make it in this months round up just send it again! I am still working on a system to keep this all organized! Let’s take a peek at some versions of the Dresden Neighborhood … the first two are from Brita Rundgren of Norway Brita Rundgren – teaches Dresden Neighborhood Quilt in classes in Norway (requires students purchase a pattern first) Jean Marie made a Dresden Neighborhood for the Project QUILTING “Brighter the better” challenge. Marcia Wachuta took the Dresden Neighborhood a whole new direction! LOVE it! Read more about it on her blog HERE. At the Quilts by Barb 2016 Quilt Retreat the attendees made their own versions of my quilt pattern Courthouse Log Cabin. This version was created by Mary Lou Stronach – a good friend of mine and my families. There is more of a story behind this quilt but I’m going to let Mary Lou share that when she’s ready. And we’ll end this round up with Fawn Benzing’s version of my Patchwork Kite. She took the idea and soared with it! I adore the kite she made! And the little girl she gifted it to was over the moon – which makes it even better! All of these projects are just fantastic! Thanks for sharing them with us everyone! ~~~ advertisement
