I’m just loving seeing all the different Dresden Neighborhood Mini Quilts folks are making! I have decided to do a “monthly roundup” on my blog to share with you some of the neighborhoods that are shared with me! If you’d like your neighborhood featured you can email it to me – lapaceksorchard@gmail.com and/OR you can join my new facebook group – Quilt and Dream Along with Kim Lapacek and share it there! Be sure to let me know if I have permission to share it (giving you credit of course)! This Dresden Neighborhood was made by Cindy Joyce! Cindy was at the Northeast Wisconsin Modern Quilt Guild’s Dresden Neighborhood Workshop I taught back in November. I am so happy she shared her finished quilt with me! I adore the change in the greens for the background. This Dresden Neighborhood was made by Debbie Wordehoff. She also attended one of my Workshops that I taught in Iowa back in April! Isn’t this just stunning!? That quilting!!!!! You can also share your Dresden Neighborhoods by adding them as a “Add New Project” under the Dresden Neighborhood pattern I have on craftsy. And that’s how I saw absheirandco’s fantastic version of this whimsical quilt! I adore Karen Thompson’s version – the bright fabrics against the grey background – just stunning! The final Dresden Neighborhood I’m going to share with you was made by Elna Olsen of Norway! (The Neighborhood is the quilt on the bottom). There are so many things I love about this – first – all the tones of red! Just look at how stunning that is! Also she made her quilt ROUND!!!!! It’s amazing! All of the doors are white – that against the tones of red and black inner circle – perfection! I am just loving seeing all the different versions of this little quilt. I really think this monthly round up will help everyone else think of different things and or try new techniques with their neighborhoods too! Interested in having me come and teach to your group? Check out how to make that happen by going HERE. ~~~
