Happy Saturday night everyone! I love writing up the prize post because I am SO excited for you all. We have some FANTASTIC sponsors and prizes this season which just makes making quilts even more fun! I hope you’re all really excited for the 3rd Project QUILTING Challenge of Season 8. I have to say – when Trish emailed it to me so I could get the post ready I got tingles! I’m confident it’s going to be a great one and you all will be super excited! The challenge will go up tomorrow at NOON CST (aka Wisconsin Time). Everyone who enters per the guide lines of the challenge will have their name put in a hat. If you do multiple projects your name will still only go into the hat one time. My girls will randomly draw the winners on “Facebook Live” once the challenge closes.
A Prize for EVERYONE who Participates!
StudioCherie has once again generously donated one of her pdf patterns to EVERYONE who successfully completes the third challenge of Project QUILTING! Is your mouth wide open in amazement – because mine is! WOW!
Prize 1
“Quilting Gift Certificate” for $30.00 off the Quilting on a Baby size quilt or larger. (Baby, Lap, Twin. Full, Queen, or King) from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting.
The Gift Certificate will be good for 4 months starting one month after the challenge ends. Excluding the Month of December for using the gift certificate. The quilting gift certificate is transferable to another person, so you can share it with a friend, if you’d like.
Marcia will do an estimate based on the size of the winner’s quilt top, quilting choices, thread choices, and batting and if they would like to purchase backing fabric from me. Winner can send backing fabric and batting with their quilt top, but I do have it available. This way the winner will have a good estimate of the value of your quilting prize.

Recipe for the Week!
I made some fabulous soup last week – Chickpea, Kale and Sausage Soup. It was DELICIOUS and super easy to make! I couldn’t find the sausage they said to use so I used Chorizo. I have to admit none of my girls ate it but Jared and I both ate it two nights straight and then there was enough for me to have it for one more meal. Definitely a winner in my book!

I made mini quiches in muffin tins, a quick zap and they are done.
