Happy Monday everyone! I know, I know, you’re all groaning that I’m saying that. But – in my defense it is a good Monday in my little world. I am currently sitting in a hotel room patiently waiting until it’s time for me to head over to the Eastern Iowa Heirloom Quilt Guild to share with them my presentation “Wildly Careening into Quilts: what I Learned by Not Knowing what I didn’t Know.” After the presentation a group of quilters will be joining me for my “Dresden Neighborhood” Workshop! I thought it would be fun to show you all a few of the Dresden Neighborhood Quilts that students from my previous workshops have made! I love looking back at these pictures! Everyone was having so much fun! Each time I teach this class my students teach ME something new! How adorable is this chimney!!?! And Sylvia fussy cut out a hat for her roof!!! I adore this!!!! Penny actually purchased my pattern online and shared with me her wonderful finished product. Penny made this quilt for a retiring city planner. The background fabric was signed by his coworkers! I’ll be sure to share pictures from today’s class a lot sooner than I did these!
