Where you following along on instagram at all to see the pictures of Fall Market this year? If you did … I’m sure you saw the amazing origami crane display at the RJR booth! It was a truly amazing display and they won ‘Best Booth Award’ for it! Be sure to check out the rest of the pictures on their facebook page here. I had heard from a little bird that they would be doing a crane display and so I made a quilt using the gorgeous Cotton Supreme Solids by RJR Fabrics. Today I am revealing the story behind my quilt ‘Supreme Harmony’ on the RJR Blog. Barb Raisbeck of Quilts by Barb did the quilting on this fun quilt. It measures 47” x 47” finished. And I want to end with a big thanks to RJR Fabrics for introducing me to their Cotton Supreme Solid collection. It is a joy to work with these luxurious solids. It has also been a good challenge for me to incorporate solids into my quilts. They really make a statement and pop in a quilt.

Oh how gorgeous. I love paper cranes…what a great idea to make a quilt of them. And I love all the thought behind your quilt, isn't that the best part – what goes into it?

One of my favorite origami patterns! I made 50 silver cranes last year for a Christmas tree. Do you know where that quilt pattern is available? I would love to make it. Your quilt is stunning!
