Sleight of Hand–Block Entry

Happy 11th day of the month!  Do you remember what that means?  Yup!  It’s that time again!  It’s time to vote for your favorite block for the ‘Everything Old is New Again’ Block Challenge.  This months inspiration was the ‘Card Trick.’ I didn’t tweak the block design at all … just how I placed fabrics and a little flange addition. I used the same tokyo tea time panel for all of the ‘cards’ in this block.  I just love all the colors and textures that all come from the blocks.  I also added a little flange of solid fabric around each of the ‘cards’.  It’s hard to really see this in the photo but it looks super cool in person! And here are all four of my blocks so far!  I think this is going to turn into one pretty kicking quilt!
