Each month with each new Focus Through the Prism Project QUILTING Challenge, I am sharing a fun 20” block tutorial based of that months block inspiration. This month we are to be inspired by the Log Cabin. I came up with the ‘Shadow Box Log Cabin Block’. This is a fun little twist on the Log Cabin. By adding just a little sashing in the right places a shadow box type effect is achieved. You can download this tutorial for free from my Craftsy Pattern Page until July 10th. After that there will be a small fee on the tutorial. I have four blocks completed from these 20” block tutorials. Once this challenge series is done I’ll be able to put together a fun quilt top that will double as a memory to the Focus Through the Prism Challenge Inspiration. Feel free to join in the fun and make your own quilt with me! Have you noticed? I’ve been using my spoonflower fabrics for these blocks! I was able to use quite a few different ones for the Shadow Box Log Cabin Block! Flower Center
