A Fairy and a Dutch Rose

Last year I came up with a block tutorial for a large Dutch Rose Block.  I decided to make another one the other day.
I am in love with the fairy in the center of the star!  I also just love what the floral stripe is doing on the outer edges too.  This really makes me want to make a bunch of these blocks with a fussy cut center focus … perhaps a cute throw quilt.  We’ll just have to see …
