Toes in the Sand

It was an ‘off’ week for Project QUILTING so I’ve been able to get some of my ‘other’ tasks done.  One of those was testing a pattern for a friend who designs quilts … but I can’t show you that yet!  I also worked on my #scrappycrownalong and finished up my love quilt.  What I’m going to show you today though is Pat Sloan’s newest block for her Vacation Time Mystery Quilt Along … Toes in the Sand. I just love this block – mixture of geese and half square triangles are so clever and the layout so fun! And here are my first two blocks of the quilt along together!  The background grey that I’m using actually is printed so it looks wrinkled … I just love the texture it adds to the background!   Don’t forget – there’s still a little time left to vote for your favorite quilts made for the Project QUILTING Challenge!
