Happy Sunday and Project QUILTING Challenge Day! In just a few hours the next challenge will be posted. I just want to stress than in order to qualify to win these prizes and for the Grand Prize you Project QUILTING piece must be a FINISHED project seen through from INCEPTION to COMPLETION during the challenge timeline. Each piece must stand alone as DONE. Now let’s see what goodies are up for grabs this week!

Waggons West is donating a custom quilt label!
“Quilting Gift Certificate” for $30.00 off the Quilting on a Baby size quilt or larger. (Baby, Lap, Twin. Full, Queen, or King) from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting.
The Gift Certificate will be good for 4 months starting one month after the challenge ends. Excluding the Month of December for using the gift certificate. The quilting gift certificate is transferable to another person, so you can share it with a friend, if you’d like.
Marcia will do an estimate based on the size of the winner’s quilt top, quilting choices, thread choices, and batting and if they would like to purchase backing fabric from me. Winner can send backing fabric and batting with their quilt top, but I do have it available. This way the winner will have a good estimate of the value of your quilting prize.
Marcia would also like to giveaway to a separate winner a prize of one of her original patterns(value $8.00).
Here are the six quilt patterns the winner will get to chose from:
- Summer Tomatoes Quilt Pattern – PDF
- Easy to Sew Quilt Pattern – PDF
- Textures Quilt Pattern – PDF
- Quilted Checkbook or Calendar Pattern – PDF
- Quilted Pocket Purse – PDF
- Turn a Quilt into a Bag Pattern – PDF
A good friend of mine, Trish Frankland of Quilt Chicken, recently won a beyond amazing prize from the Bad Ass Quilter’s Society to celebrate reaching 8,000 followers on facebook. There were a few things in the prize package that she already had and decided to spread the love by donating them to Project QUILTING Prizes. One of those things – the Quilter’s Catalog by Meg Cox is going to be a prize this week. Trish said she purchased this book when it first came out and still uses it today – it’s a great piece to add to your collection (and she’s a librarian so she knows what she’s talking about!). Thank you so much Trish for sharing your winnings with us and be sure to check out the Bad Ass Quilter’s Society to find out what they’re all about! Aren’t these some great prizes that have been so generously donated!? I can’t wait to see what you all come up with this week AND who wins these amazing prizes!
