I joined in with Pat Sloan’s Globetrotting Mystery Quilt Along in 2014 along with MANY other quilters from all over!
EDIT! I had to add the pictures I just took on the deer fence today – the hanging over the railing ones just weren’t cutting it for me…And just last night – I put the final stitches into the binding. Of course – it was bitterly windy out when I finished so outdoor pictures were out of the question. I did manage a decent one with my hubby holding it from our balcony railing
but I will be bringing this out for a traditional fence picture as soon as the weather permits. My aunt Barb Raisbeck of Quilts by Barb did the quilting on this one. I didn’t think it was possible but the tight swirls of quilting actually made this quilt seem a little less busy. Oh – it’s still crazy busy but this seemed to help bringing it down at least slightly.
And the back is gorgeous too! I just LOVE this fabric!
The block patterns for this quilt along are all still up and can be found HERE. Pat is running another FREE quilt along this year too! Check out the ‘Vacation Time’ Mystery HERE.
Gorgeous! I love the backing fabric and the fun quilting.
