I’ve been working really hard to put together some quilt block tutorials together for you all and publishing them onto my Craftsy Pattern Store.
One that I had promised to you all way back in February was the Modern Log Cabin Block that I used to make my Modern Log Cabin Quilt.
So … FINALLY here is the tutorial so you can make the basic block!
Large Ohio Star Block – another one that could either be the start to a bigger quilt or a fantastic miniature quilt. This one was inspired by a barn quilt I painted this summer.
Large Dutch Rose Block
And again – either a miniature quilt or the start to a bigger quilt.
I started with the Large Dutch Rose Block for my Michael Miller Modern Quilt Guild Challenge. One block remained complete and the other five were ‘deconstructed’ in some way or another to create the quilt ‘Deconstructed Dutch Rose’.
Just click on the blocks above and you’ll be able to buy the patterns for yourself! I can’t wait to see what you make with these!
Feel free to add any of your blocks or patterns to my flickr group: Persimon Dreams
