The inspiration and challenge of pure ‘red and white’ quilts of the ‘Infinite Variety: Three Generations of Red and White’ show was just too much for me to ignore. I decided to do a whimsical house applique with a tree and some bushes for my August Off Season ‘Red and White’ Project Quilting Challenge. I practiced the double blanket stitch feature on my new Bernina…still need more practice to make it perfect but it was fun. I also love the stitch regulator that is on my Bernina. It makes free motion quilting on my machine so much easier! Quilt Stats Name: Little Red and White House
Finished Size: 16” x 14”
Machine Appliqued and Free Motion Quilted: Me, Kim Lapacek
Inspiration: Red and White Project QUILTING Challenge

Can we rename this "Mr. Rorschach's House"?
