I’m starting this post out with a laugh so you all can’t be too mad at me. So…it turns out you CAN play hide n seek in a moving van! All you have to do is put a blanket over your had, have someone count…and then see if they can figure out where you might be! Have I ever told you all just how adorable I think Pip is!? So…now that I shared the cute picture that hopefully gave you a laugh and put you in a good mood…it’s time for me to announce…ahem…only 12 days late…the winners from the June Project QUILTING Challenge – Panel It. I am SO SORRY I am so late doing this! I can’t believe I forgot for so long. To be honest, I would remember, but wouldn’t be at my computer to look up the names in the hat or my kids would be around, and then I would forget again for awhile. So tonight, even though it was already way past bedtime, I made the kiddo’s stay up a few more minutes and we FINALLY drew the winners! If you haven’t seen it…10 fabulous quilts were FINISHED for the Panel It Challenge and a few more started. 2 of the pieces were finished were made by myself and my mother-in-law, Diane, so we don’t qualify for prizes. This means – 8 names were put into the hat! (see the bottom of THIS POST to see all the projects linked up!) Prize for Off Season Project Quilting Challenges: (winner will be randomly drawn from a hat)
Prize 1!
Congrats Terry T! Cedi randomly drew your name and you win….
“Quilting Gift Certificate” for $30.00 off the Quilting on a Baby size quilt or larger. (Baby, Lap, Twin. Full, Queen, or King) from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting.
The Gift Certificate will be good for 4 months starting one month after the challenge ends. Excluding the Month of December for using the gift certificate.
The quilting gift certificate is transferable to another person, so you can share it with a friend, if you’d like.
Marcia will do an estimate based on the size of the winner’s quilt top, quilting choices, thread choices, and batting and if they would like to purchase backing fabric from me. Winner can send backing fabric and batting with their quilt top, but I do have it available. This way the winner will have a good estimate of the value of your quilting prize.
Prize 2!
Pip chose our second winner Adva P who should be watching her mailbox for…
Hand-Dyed Fabric Fat Quarters from Kelly Kroon! Participant Kelly Kroon has generously donated these six gorgeous coral hand-dyed fabrics to one randomly drawn winner! Thanks Kelly for adding to the pot! Thanks to both of our wonderful sponsors for the June Challenge! I do have to apologize to everyone for taking so long to draw the winners! I will try not to let that happen again! If you want to get in on the July Challenge – there’s still plenty of time. This month we’re asking you to be inspired by ‘Independence’.
