GRAND PRIZE REVIEW
Every time someone completed a Project QUILTING Challenge per the guidelines their name was added to the drawing for the Grand Prize. If you complete every challenge (all 6) you will get a bonus entry (maximum number of times your name will be in the drawing…7). 13 people completed all six challenges in Season 5.
Before we get to the Randomly Drawn Grand Prize winner…let’s take a look at all the fabulous prizes!
$50 gift certificate redeemable towards quilting by Marcia of Marcia’s Crafty Sewing & Quilting!
Bungalow Quilting and Yarn will be giving away a book with templates!
Waggons West is donating THREE custom quilt labels!
Diana of SeldomSeenQuilting is giving away her service of digitizing a photograph for embroidery!
Pat Sloan will be giving away a fabulous box of her Aurifil Thread, ‘The Perfect Box of Neutrals’ as part of this season’s grand prize!
I will be throwing in some fabric and other goodies too!
I am so grateful for all my amazing sponsors this season! It really adds to the fun of a challenge when you know there’s a chance you could win prizes!
I thought about just using the random number generator for this one…but drawing from a hat is just too much fun…so I got out my slips of paper, my hat, and my sharpie.
And I wrote out the 240 entries (not counting Diane and I and adding in 12 extra entries for the folks that completed all the challenges – I excluded myself once again in here).
And I put them in the hat. Every time I walked by the hat I would grab the names and mix them up a bit more. I did this at least 10 times before the drawing took place.
AND Capri got to do the honors of picking the Grand Prize winner since she was felling better this morning.
And Congratulations to Kelly Kroon!
This was Kelly’s first season of Project QUILTING but she did make six fabulous quilted pieces! Congratulations Kelly! You’ll be hearing from me soon!
Thanks again to everyone for once again joining in the Project QUILTING fun! I’ll be posting an ‘off season’ challenge tomorrow and Season 6 is scheduled to start in January of 2015!
