Although I keep talking about how I want to add one more BOM into my portfolio for this year – I’m still only up to date on the two. I’m challenging myself to make a ‘low volume’ quilt for the Aurifil BOM. This is a bit tough for me as I pretty much don’t own much ‘low volume’ fabrics… Here’s my March Block…I thought the yellow was sort of low volume…we’ll see what it looks like in the end! And for Pat Sloan’s Globetrotting Mystery BOM we travelled to not too far south of me this month to Chicago. And this is my ‘Chicago’ Block. I’m loving how the patchwork-esque fabric is looking all pieced together. For the center crossed I used some hand-dyed fabric that I hand-painted years ago. I just have a little left but this seemed like the perfect place to use it! And here are all three of my blocks! I’m a happy quilter!
