It’s time to check in and see how my November went as far as completely my ‘A Lovely Year of Finishes’ goals…
Goal 1.
First. My main goal is to make and finish a quilt for the Double Wedding Ring Challenge.
Which I COMPLETED! I even have a few hours left to spare…I ended up making six Double Wedding Ring blocks and I named my quilt ‘Little Boxes’.
Goal 2.
I want to keep up with the Tula Pink City Sampler Quilt Along. Ideally, I want to speed right ahead, finish all my blocks and have the top pieced by the end of the month…
Well…I definitely kept up with the quilt along – I even finished all 100 blocks. I did not, however, piece the top together. I think I know what I’m going to do but now it’s just a matter of finding that pesky thing called ‘time’.
Goal 3.
Project QUILTING. I LOVE the challenge I came up with ‘Color MERCEDI’ and I have a great idea for it BUT with everything happening in November I didn’t get to it. Since it’s my challenge and there are no prizes…I extended the deadline by a week..so hopefully I can get it done this coming week! I
Goal 4.
Create the sketch for the quilt along I’m planning for 2014. It has to do with thread is the only hint I’m going to give you at this point. Oh – and of course, it’s going to be amazing! – NOT FINISHED. Still working on this but during all my ‘thinking’ time I did come up with another great idea for 2014 and my blog! Stay tuned! I have some buttons to make!

Absolutely beautiful double wedding ring. As always you have such a unique take on a very traditional design. Congratulations!
