It’s that time of the month again – time to figure out my quilting goals. I have a lot going on this month but I also have a lot of quilting deadlines to try to fit in so things will just have to get done. I think my goals are just going to be what HAS to get done because of other deadlines instead of adding even more to my plate. Let’s take a look at my May goals for the ‘A Lovely Year of Finishes’.
Goal 1. Project QUILTING Fat Quarter Shop Bundle Challenge
I have my plan, I have my fabrics painted, I even have the piecing started. But I still have a long way to go. This Fat Quarter Shop Challenge quilt HAS to get done this month though so wish me luck!
Goal 2: My Favorite Block Quilt Along Top Pieced
All 20 of the blocks for the ‘My Favorite Block Quilt Along’ have been posted and it’s time to get the top pieced. I still need to make a few more 6-inch blocks but I’m about ready to get this one sewn together. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long.
Goal 3: Project QUILTING May Off Season Challenge – Pantone
I announced the Pantone Project QUILTING Challenge today. Since I run this challenge I feel like I should probably make a quilt for it. I have no ideas yet for it but I’m sure I’ll come up with something.
So that’s it. Those are my three goals to go with my crazy busy May life. Wish me luck – and lots of it please!

Great goals. I have decided to set the goals that have to get done this month, too. Mine will be my PQ bonus challenge quilt. I am a slacker, you have more done than me haha.

I have three quilting gifts to finish-up: contemporary "water lilies" quilt for my daughters' new apartment, a frog quilt for gf's first grandson and an astronomy quilt for another gf's first granddaughter. Phew. Everyone's having babies!!
