At the beginning of February I had a booth at the ‘Fall in Love with Handmade’ show that Michelle of Dainty Daisies put on in Oshkosh, WI. It was a great show but I would have to say that the highlight of the show was meeting a beautiful, young and talented artist – Miranda Morrissey. Miranda was selling ‘Goo’ dolls that go with her book ‘Made to Make You Happy’.
The illustrations in the book are incredible and the story that goes with it heartbreakingly wonderful. Since I knew my husband would not like it if I brought home three more stuffed creatures – I decided to get at least one. Pip gave Capri her very own Goo and Book for Capri’s Birthday. 
Purple with blue – perfect! Purple is Capri’s favorite color and blue is now her second favorite color. It is so soft and squishy! The girls are constantly picking ‘Made to Make You Happy’ for their bedtime story too! All around – it was a perfect gift!
I’m happy to say that you can order your very own cuddly Goo from Miranda Morrissey’s etsy page. I’m sure if you ask her you can also get a copy of the fabulous book she wrote and illustrated. I’m waiting to hear back from our library to see if they’re doing the summer reading program baskets again – if they are I’m donating a Goo and book!
