This is a great day for me to be thinking about Goal Setting. I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed with all that I have going on this week and making a list always helps me calm down…at least for me.
I have things that I NEED to get done this month…
Project QUILTING, Challenge 3 – Annie’s Vision
This was as far I got on Sunday… I made some decent progress on it today during Pip’s nap…I still have a pretty big addition to do to it and I’m crossing my fingers that I things work out so I can get it done…I have a quilt class tomorrow night, gymnastics with the girls on Wednesday night, speaking at a conference on Thursday, get ready for show on Friday, do the show on Saturday. Ever have one of those weeks that everything’s happening at once? This would be my week…oh well, I know I’m going to ‘make it work’ – I have to!
Anothe quilting project that is not an option is the ‘Future Quilters Quilt’ I’m putting together for my daughter, Capri. She’s turning 5 on February 24th so I at least have to have the top pieced. I’m trying to decide how much I should have her help me finish it… I’m excited that I already have five blocks (actually…6…one came in the mail after I took the pictures but I’ll be sure to include it in the next post).
So – the quilt project I’m going to set for my February goal is something I don’t HAVE to finish by any particular time…but it’s on my list of things to do and it’s time for it to be finished up!In December, I posted a tutorial for a Postage Stamp Tree Block. I made mine in autumn colors, my mother-in-law, Diane Lapacek, made one in spring colors. Now I need to make one in Winter colors and one in summer colors. Then I’m going to make a nice little ‘seasons’ wall hanging out of them. That is my goal for February – I want to finish my Seasons Wall Hanging.
Wish me luck! I only have a *few* things to do this month.
