I’m happy to be participating in the fun today!  In fact…throughout this week there will be LOTS of giveaway’s happening on my blog – it’s going to be FUN!

What am I going to giveaway today in honor of this fun day?  Two things actually…

IMG_1687 One yard of hand-dyed fabric that my mother-in-law, Diane, dyed herself.  We have TONS of colors to choose from and I’ll select a gorgeous piece to send you for your next handmade project.spinning ninesI will also be emailing you a pdf pattern to my original ‘Spinning Nines’ quilt pattern.   You can use the yard of hand-dyed fabric to create one of these gorgeous table runners!  It’s a easy pattern that looks harder than it is.  These runners will make excellent Christmas gifts!  They’re also easy to quilt on your regular old sewing machine!

    Oh what beautiful hand dies! Thank you for a great giveaway. I love the color green, but tend not to use it in my quilting as much as purple. I think purple is the color I use the most, but it's hard to say, if you like on my blog at things, there is such a variety of colors I use. lol.

    I love blue, but the colors I end up crafting with end up just being not blue. I like blue so much that I try to avoid it so that all of my stuff isn't blue. As a consequence, nothing is blue. lol

It's not one of my personal favorites, persay, but I recently finished a small quilt for my niece to take with her into hospital for an upcoming round of surgeries, and her favorite color is teal. I had lots of fun incorporating the gorgeous blues in with some pinkish-purples in batik style!

    I liked the Memory Bracelet – Braided Hand-Dyed Fabric Hot Pink, touches of Purple and White best from your Persimon Dreams etsy shop. It was someone I could afford. Your wall art quilts are also quite lovely.

    The fabric is so pretty. My favorite colors are blues and periwinkles, so I love the cool colors, but honestly, I am finding myself imagining the happy yellows in projects as well. Inspiration strikes 🙂

    I love blues and purples, but I try to use lots of different colors, even if I don't think they'll work at first. Amazing how a little yellow or orange can liven things up.
